Dr. Boynton Named a 2017 Top Doctor in Texas

We are excited to announce that our board-certified plastic surgeon—Dr. James F. Boynton—was recognized as one of the Top Doctors in Texas for 2017, as reported in Texas Monthly magazine! To earn this honor, Dr. Boynton was first nominated by his medical peers through a survey process involving a simple question: “If you needed medical care in one of the following specialties, which doctor would you choose?”

As the recommendation of several of his colleagues for plastic surgery, Dr. Boynton’s name was added to a group of candidates for inclusion on the “Super Doctors” list. Once all nominations were submitted, top vote-getters were evaluated on various indicators of excellence and professional achievement, including number of years in practice, specific training and fellowships, board certifications, previous awards, and much more.

Following this assessment, candidates were then further reviewed by a “Blue Ribbon Panel” consisting of doctors who received the highest number of peer nominations and evaluation scores. Lastly, all points gained from colleague nominations, research, and the Blue Ribbon Panel screening were tallied, and physicians with the highest totals were named to the final “Super Doctors” list.
